Finding your
     perfect bike...

Step by step to
a bikE that suits you

1

Exploring your options

You’ve decided you’d like a vanRaam bike. The next question is which model suits you best. A good place to begin is our website, where you can use the Bike Selector to see which models might fit your needs. If you already have one in mind, you can configure it online to explore colours and options. If you’re working with an occupational therapist or physiotherapist, they can also help guide you towards the right choice.

2

Book a test ride

If you’d like to try different models, visit a dealer near you or attend a demo day. You’ll find a full list of authorised dealers on the vanRaam website. It’s worth checking in advance whether the model you’d like to try is available. If you’re unsure which bike is right for you, don’t worry. Your dealer will guide you through the options and help you narrow it down.

3

Take your time during the test ride

A test ride is your opportunity to talk through your needs and preferences. Your dealer will adjust the bike to suit your body and discuss any additional options that might make cycling more comfortable or intuitive for you. There are many ways to tailor a vanRaam bike, from additional accessories to different control systems. Our aim is to ensure the bike feels right for you.

4

Consider your payment options

Once you’ve found the right bike, your dealer will provide a detailed quote. You may choose to pay for the bike yourself, which gives you full flexibility when configuring it. In some cases, financial support may be available through your local council or personal budget schemes. Some riders also choose to raise funds within their community. It’s worth exploring what options are available to you locally.

5

Double-check the details

If you’re still unsure, you’re welcome to arrange a second test ride. It’s also worth thinking about practical details, such as where you’ll store the bike at home. The dimensions of each model are available on the website. If needed, your dealer may be able to visit you with a similar model to check space and access.

6

Placing your order

When you’re confident in your choice, you can place your final order with your dealer. Your bike will then be built to order by vanRaam. The dealer will keep you updated on delivery times.

7

Collection and adjustment

When your bike arrives, your dealer will arrange a appointment. During this visit, the bike will be carefully adjusted to suit you. Your dealer will remain your main point of contact for future questions, servicing and maintenance.

Tip! If you’re happy with the setup during your test ride, take a few photos. They can help ensure your new bike is adjusted in exactly the same way.

8

Register your bike

Once you’ve received your bike, register it via the vanRaam app. Registration activates your extended frame warranty. The app also allows you to adjust support settings, track your rides, and access useful information about your bike. You’re ready to ride!

Tip!

You may wish to arrange an appointment with an occupational therapist or physiotherapist for your first few rides. Practising with professional guidance in your own familiar surroundings can help you build confidence.
