Parking?
Apply the brake
If you ride a tricycle and are stopping for a break, always apply the parking brake before stepping away. That way you can relax and enjoy the moment, without worrying about your bike rolling away.
Check your tyre pressure
Correct tyre pressure makes your bike feel smoother, more stable and easier to pedal. On electric models, it can even help you get more range from the battery. Tyres that are too soft wear out more quickly and make pedalling harder. Tyres that are overinflated can reduce grip. Keeping them at the right pressure is safer for you and kinder to your tyres. It only takes a minute, and the difference is worth it. Click here to find out how.

Stick or crutches along
Do you use a walking stick or crutches? With the double stick holder, you can easily take them with you on your bike ride. The holder has space for two sticks or crutches. With the Easy Sport, you can take one stick or crutch with you. You can also order the stick holder later. Your dealer can easily attach this to your bike.
Your bike can change with you
If your situation changes over time, you don’t necessarily need a new bike. Many vanRaam models can be adapted with additional accessories. For example, you might add a stick holder for walking sticks or crutches, a rollator holder, extra mirrors, indicators, arm or backrests, or a modified gear lever for easier operation. There are many possibilities. If you’re unsure what would help, your dealer will be happy to advise.
